'Michael Heitzler Governs With A Conscience

From his humble office on the backside of the Marguerite H. Brown Municipal Center Goose Creek Mayor Michael Heitzler looks out on the grounds used by the city for outdoor events. The building and the park are just some of the many projects Heiztler has overseen during his more than three decades as mayor of Goose Creek. Heitzler is only the third mayor the city has had since Goose Creek incorporated back in 1961. Although the title is considered part time Heitzler admits he takes his responsibilities seriously.
